Today's What Will You Stamp? Challenge is WWYS201 - Spirited Snowmen. It's a stamp set that is retiring on January 2nd but is currently still available to purchase. I love the set, but for my WWYS Design Team project thought I'd move away from the predictable winter theme. So instead I made a friendship / Valentine's card with a sneak peek of the Stitched Be Mine Dies. FIRST THINGS FIRST I began my project with a piece of Thick Whisper White Card cut and scored using my Stampin' ... VIEW POST
World Diabetes Day
Today, November 14th is World Diabetes Day, and a day that I felt the need I had to mark. At the age of 23 our son Russell was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and immediately went onto a regime of daily insulin injections, quickly progressing to 4 per day. Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the pancreas causing it to produce little or no insulin. This means that the body is unable to process glucose. Blizzard Thinlits Background Die
On Saturday I showed you a project created using background stamping. Today I have another interesting background technique using the Blizzard Thinlits Die. Then using my Big Shot and Magnetic Platform I cut it out using the Blizzard Thinlits Die. I ... VIEW POST
Love Never Melts

Funny enough I never say December, or January, I've found in my little corner of Canada, February is best. So when I saw the Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set and the 'love never melts' sentiment I immediately thought of Valentine's Day. Before I knew it I had made today's very simple Sunday project. LOVE NEVER ... VIEW POST
Puzzle Pieces Inspiration
My regular blog readers will know that I get my inspiration from lots of different sources. Just recently I ordered the Love You To Pieces Stamp Set, and coordinating Puzzle Pieces Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up! I was inspired as soon as I saw these in the 2017/2018 Annual Catalogue, and in many ways, too inspired. In the end I decided to begin by channelling my ideas using a couple of design challenges. BRIGHT COLOURS I began with the background, using the large puzzle piece outline ... VIEW POST
Very Vintage Stamp Set
Something that I always try to do is help my customers to get the most from their crafting budget. I let them know when there are special promotions from Stampin' Up!, and I point out where they can save 10% by buying coordinating items using a special bundle code. But something that is often overlooked by customers is the Host stamp sets. So today I decided to use the Very Vintage Stamp Set from page 227 of the 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue to show you what you might be missing. This ... VIEW POST
