It's Christmas Eve already and I'm wondering what happened to the rest of December? In fact I'm not entirely sure where 2019 went. I suspect you have a mountain of things still to do so today's sneak peek will be a quick one. While it's cold outside there's no harm in dreaming of warmer weather and so I chose the new Timeless Tropical Stamp Set for today's card. This comes from the Stampin' Up! January to June Mini Catalogue that goes live to customers on January 3rd. SIMPLE MASKED ... VIEW POST
The Power Of Sneak Peeks
Well the project I'd planned to bring you this morning has had to be postponed due to my slow internet connection. The video is taking way longer than usual to upload so I'm going to plan B. But don't worry I still have a sneak peek for you. Today's project uses a stamp set that you'll be able to get for free during Sale-A-Bration. It's called Power of Hope and will come in a bundle with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder. All you need to do to get the free bundle is place an order for $120 ... VIEW POST
Believe The Power Will Stay On!
As I sit down to write this blog post the wind and rain are really starting to pick up. This bad weather was forecast and as expected some people are already without power. I'm trying to keep positive and believe that ours will hold out long enough to get this blog post written, but I'll keep it short just to be safe. BELIEVE YOU CAN I began this project by making a card base from Early Espresso Card. Next I spritzed the front with a little clean water before embossing it using the ... VIEW POST
A Treat In A Triangle Box
Every year I love coming up with creative ways to gift little treats. Even though the packaging style may be the same, the change in paper, stamp sets and dies always seems to give the project new life. So with that in mind, here's my 2019 version of a triangle box for two Hershey's Nuggets. TRIANGLE BOX TUTORIAL I made this year's triangle box using a piece from the Garden Lane 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP). It probably isn't the first DSP pack you'd think of for Christmas ... My Favourite Holly Image This Season
I may have mentioned this before, but of all the holly images available from Stampin' Up! right now, the one in the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set is my favourite. I love the size, the fact that there's four berries, and how the leaves are arranged. It's perfect for stamping directly onto a project, and not to difficult to fussy cut if desired. So I couldn't resist using it again on a card in both these ways. STRIKING BACKGROUND I began by making the striking background panel from a ... VIEW POST
And Now For A Giraffe Project
If you've been following my blog for a while you'll know I love a good pun. So it should come as no surprise when I say I love the Back On Your Feet Stamp Set. At first glance you might think this set is just for get well cards. However, I think the giraffe image and "This is knot good" sentiment could suit lots of different circumstances. GIRAFFE TIMES FOUR My project began with the giraffe image and an Early Espresso ink pad. First I stamped the giraffe on the front of a Very ... VIEW POST
