As so often happens when a new catalogue comes out, I’ve been neglecting some of my other toys. While I’m sure no one can blame for having fun with new Stampin’ Up! products, it does make me feel a little guilty. That’s why I’ve been revisiting some older (but still available) items like the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder and Labels Aglow Dies. Of course I couldn’t resist pairing them with a new stamp set. There’s something about the font used for the Layering Leaves sentiments that I simply ... VIEW POST
Countryside Fun
When it comes to patterned paper my crafting has certainly evolved. There was a time when I rarely used it, and certainly not in multiple layers. But as time has gone on I find myself reaching for it more and more. So I was delighted to see Stampin’ Up! offering 15% off selected packs of Designer Series Paper (DSP) this month. I couldn’t resist, and have some new packs due for delivery next week. Meanwhile I created this simple gender-neutral birthday card using several patterns from the ... VIEW POST
In The Zone

Bird’s Eye View

Of course it’s impossible to go in there without making something and yesterday was no exception. So I opened up a new stamp set called Bird’s Eye View and decided to have a play. I have a feeling the two pairs of glasses will see a lot of use with this set and with others. BIRD'S EYES I began with a 2" x ... VIEW POST
Courage & Faith
I don’t know where the time is going but I think I’m going to run out of month before I run out of things I need to get done. Sadly not all of them are fun tasks but I have a strategy… I’ll use the nice ones to reward myself for doing the boring and less enjoyable jobs. Of course it would probably help if I set a timer to stop myself spending all day on a ‘reward’. It’s tough though when I have new stamp sets like Courage & Faith to play with! COURAGE WITH COLOUR This project ... VIEW POST
