Back at the beginning of September I was part of the IDEAS blog hop when our theme was inspirations. For that I used a colour combination inspired by a card I’d seen on Facebook. Today’s project also draws on a colour combination I’d come across, but this time it’s the October 2026 Paper Pumpkin kit called Noel Greetings. That kit coordinates with the Neutral Noel Suite on pages 16 and 17 of the current catalogue. So, using the Neutral Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP), I created this ... VIEW POST

Learn & Grow Again
This morning, instead of working on my blog post, I had some important errands to run. Typically I would prioritise my blog but when medical/health related appointments come up I take what I’m given. The reports were promising and being in town also gave me an opportunity to visit with a friend I haven’t seen in years. She’s rejoined Stampin’ Up! and turned the tables by choosing me as her team leader. So before I popped round I made this “Welcome back” card using the Learn & Grow Stamp ... VIEW POST
Cutest Little Birdies
Oh my, yesterday really got away from me! It started with an early medical appointment, then some quick errands, before visiting with a friend. The main reason was to drop off her latest Stampin’ Up! order but I stopped for a chat over coffee. She also loves to bake, so we had some of that too. We chatted for quite some time and I completely forgot I had a blog post to write, so albeit a day late here’s a quick and easy card featuring the Cutest Crew Stamp Set. I began by cutting a 5-1/2" x ... VIEW POST
Easy Alphabet Sentiment
Do you enjoy watching movies? I do, even though I don’t often get to see them on the big screen. In fact I think the last few times I been to a cinema it’s been in the UK with one or more granddaughters. I like spotting popular movie references, like recently when my doctor explained the potential sides affects of abruptly stopping a new medication with the words “you might see dead people”! Today’s project features another movie reference using the Mini Alphabet Dies and Waterside Retreat ... VIEW POST
Salutations & Birthday Greetings
What a start to September we’ve had! It seems like Mother Nature said “That’s it, summer’s over, you’re done”. It’s very wet and windy, but unlike the summer storms it’s also dark and gloomy too. I don’t mind autumn, but when I know it’s only a buffer zone before winter comes around it takes the shine off a bit. Still, I’m looking forward to embracing all the colours of autumn. That’s what attracted me to the toadstool design I used on today’s simple Sunday project, paired with a marvelous ... VIEW POST
IDEAS Blog Hop: Relaxing Inspiration
This month the IDEAS team has a theme we've not used before. It's called Inspiration and we're sharing how we find inspiration for our projects. It's a question I'm asked quite regularly and the simple answer is it can come from all sorts of places, not just from other people's cards. However that's exactly where I got my inspiration this time, and while the layers on the original card are gorgeous, it was actually the colour scheme that caught my eye. In fact it was over a year ago that I ... VIEW POST
