Texture Chic Surprise
Did you know that in 206 days it will be Christmas? That's almost 30 weeks I hear you say. True, but think about how many cards you’ll want to send, and divide that by 30. Slimline Birthday Greetings
If you’re looking to make something other than a standard A2 (4-1/4” x 5-1/2”) card why not try a slimline? I’ve seen a number of different sizes of slimline cards with different names such as ‘mini slimline’, ‘short slimline’ etc. But the one I prefer starts with a piece of card 7” x 8-1/2”, scored on the short side at 3-1/2”. After a run of flowers, animals and birds I decided that it was time for something a little more masculine. Other papercrafters often tell me that making cards and gifts for the man in their life is incredibly challenging. I’m not immune to this either. Songbirds Maiden Flight
It’s the weekend, the sun is shining and it’s due to warm up too. This morning there were 9 white-tailed deer vising the all-you-can-eat buffet that is my front lawn. Also more obvious now are the various birds that visit when our black cat Houdini is not in a playful mood. We even saw our first blue jay this year. These brightly coloured birds always make me smile when I see them, so blue was the colour I reached for when designing today’s project using the Sweet Songbirds Stamp Set. SWEET ... VIEW POST
Sun Prints Is Such A Treat
Today is going to be a good day. The sun is shining and there’s a gentle breeze to help the washing dry. More important though is that my order from the Stampin’ Up! 2022/2023 Annual Catalogue is being delivered today. With that in mind I plan to get the chores done early and clear my afternoon so I can play for a few hours.
