One of the most overlooked parts of any Stampin' Up! catalogue has to be the Host section near the back. Some customers seem to think that if they're not hosting a workshop or 'party' that it's not relevant to them. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact if you have a larger order (at least $200 CAD before shipping and taxes) you can qualify for host perks. That includes exclusive stamp sets like Natural Textures which I used on today's project. WOVEN TEXTURES The Natural ... VIEW POST
I’m Visiting Peekaboo Farm Again
It's the start of another busy month and today I'm playing peekaboo with the new Kits Collection from Stampin' Up! The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that there's no kits in the new Annual Catalogue, and there's a good reason for that. Stampin' Up! wanted to have more flexibility to expand their range of kits, and add to them throughout the year. Using Meadow Dies For A White Silhouette
Ok so I don't really know whether a 'white silhouette' is actually a thing. But if not I've just invented it. Daisy Days Are On Their Way
At long last colour is returning to the gardens and hedgerows. I love watching new plants emerge and flower, and then give way to others as the season progresses. For us spring is predominantly a time for dandelions with the 'lawn' in front of the house a sea of yellow. I must admit that since moving to rural Nova Scotia my opinion of dandelions has changed dramatically. No longer are they weeds that must be eradicated using any and all means at my disposal. But rather they are the first ... VIEW POST
Meadow Dies Work Without Stamped Images
I love stamp sets and dies that coordinate. In fact when they're available I tend to buy coordinating products using a 'bundle' item number so I can save 10%. Mind you, that doesn't mean I always use coordinating products together. Oh no. In fact sometimes I go out of my way to see how these items can work by themselves. One of the die sets that really lends itself to this is the new Meadow Dies. that are available in a discounted bundle with the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set. However the dies ... VIEW POST
