My regular blog readers will know that I love experimenting with colour combinations. Red, green and gold are lovely for Christmas but I seem to be obsessed with another colour right now. So today's Simple Sunday project is a blue Christmas card, well two blues actually. BLUE CHRISTMAS My project all started with the Merry Christmas To All Stamp Set. I pulled out the separate "Merry" and "Christmas" stamps and set them up on my acrylic block. These are see-through photopolymer ... VIEW POST
Final Shades of Autumn
With the recent wind and colder weather our garden had taken on a rather sad feel. The beautiful autumn colours of the past few weeks are all but a memory, and while there's still some colour in the grass, even that's not as vibrant. Today's project is an autumn card I made in early October as part of my personal World Card Making Day challenge. Even though I was working under the pressure of the clock, I still love how this turned out. WOODEN BASE I began this project with the ... VIEW POST

Peace And Love All Year
Excuse me but can anyone tell me what happened to the first three weeks of December? It can't possibly be Christmas Eve already. Peace and love is a sentiment that's welcome all year. DELICATE BACKGROUND I decided to start my project with a pretty background using one of the decorative images from Merry Christmas ... VIEW POST
Triangle Box for Hershey Nuggets
While it's no secret that I love York Peppermint Patties, I do have other favourite chocolates too. Since moving to Canada I've discovered Hershey Nuggets and have not yet managed to eat just one. So it should come as no surprise that today's project features these in a little triangle box that's perfect for a table favor or stocking stuffer. TRIANGLE BOX LAYOUT Obviously this project all started with the box. Using my Stampin' Trimmer I began by cutting a piece of Soft Sea Foam Card ... VIEW POST
Sweet Treat Packages
Time's ticking away and I've another quick Christmas project for you, snack-size sweet treat packages. These would be great for stocking stuffers, table favors, or a token gift to give out to anyone you meet. My favourite is the York Peppermint Patty, but I'm aware that some people prefer Reeses Pieces. So I've created two versions of my treat packages, one for a York Patty, and the other for the slightly larger Reeses. ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD Both sweet treat packages were created using ... VIEW POST
