There are some stamp sets that I seem to be addicted to and use over and over again. Others I buy because they have a specific use. Take the Days To Remember Stamp Set which is great for memory keeping. However today’s project features the Best Family Ever Stamp Set. This contains some regular sentiments (although I already have lots of those) but what drew me to this set was the variety of relationship sentiments like daughter, brother, husband etc. Perfect for turning a handmade project into ... A Paper Pumpkin Thing: 10 Years Of Growth
It’s the first Friday in the month and that means it’s time for the A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. This month we’re celebrating ten years of Paper Pumpkin kits with alternate projects using the March 2023 kit. The colour palette used in the aptly named “10 Years Of Growth” kit is absolutely gorgeous and very spring-like. I’ve even created an image using some of these as inspiration for future projects. For my alternate projects I decided to make a card along with a quick and easy gift card ... VIEW POST
Celebrating Mothers
With all the talk about the Retiring or ‘Last Chance’ List I wanted to point out a few important details. Firstly, not everything on the list is going to be reduced. Secondly, any discounted prices will not come into effect until Tuesday April 4th. However, between now and then some retiring products are likely to go out of stock. It’s always a juggling act. Today I wanted to highlight five more items that are being retired. The one I’ll definitely miss the most is the multi-occasion Celebrating ... VIEW POST
Celebrating Early

Nevertheless for today’s project I decided to create this little favour box using the Celebrating You Stamp Set and Pretty ... VIEW POST
Strong And Beautiful Moments Combine
As the days go by more and more items on the Retiring List are selling out. Sometimes customers like to wait and see if products are going to be reduced and that can happen. However I usually tell my customers to weigh up how badly they want a particular product and whether it's worth missing out completely just because they hoped to save a few dollars? Something that rarely gets reduced is retiring stamp sets, as Stampin' Up! make these and adjusts production to closely meet demand. This is ... VIEW POST
Simple Three Layer Card Idea
Well yesterday was a complete write off as I wasn't feeling great and spent the whole day curled up on the sofa with a book. Today I'm better, although still not 100% so I'm planning to take it easy again. I still have a project for you though. It's a simple three layer card that needs no special tools or techniques. STRONG & BEAUTIFUL I began with the very top layer of my project. I chose a sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set and using Early Espresso ink, stamped ... VIEW POST
