While I’m dealing with a nasty cold I’m avoiding anything that needs my complete attention. Instead I’m tackling those smaller jobs that aren’t affected by my fuzzy brain. So today I'm reorganising and preparing for the list of products being retired by Stampin’ Up! which will be revealed to Demonstrators on March 23rd. All the Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue is pretty much guaranteed to go, and this simple Sunday project highlights two of the packs we’re likely ... VIEW POST
Magnet Board: Fun And Function
Is it spring yet? While we wait, I'm spring-cleaning and reorganising my craft studio. I'm passionate about papercrafting and anything that gives me more time to do that is a big bonus. As well as re-evaluating how I use and access my stamps, ink and paper, organising my thoughts and commitments is something I need to work on too. So when I saw the new Celebrate Today Magnet Board Kit from Stampin' Up! I simply had to get one. Today I opened the box and began to set it up. QUICK ... VIEW POST
IDEAS Blog Hop – Loving Sale-A-Bration
It's the first Monday of the month and that means it's time for another IDEAS blog hop. Like other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators around the world we're looking forward to a new catalogue, and the best promotion on the Stampin' Up! calendar; Sale-A-Bration. When you can get exclusive free products just for placing a qualifying order, what's not to love? So the IDEAS team decided that this month we'd showcase Sale-A-Bration products. For my projects I couldn't resist pairing the free Driving By ... VIEW POST
Honeybee Home Easel Calendar For 2022
Happy New Year everyone, and welcome to 2022. I'm not quite sure where 2021 went but very thankful it's gone. Somehow last year seemed to fly by and now we get to look forward to better times (hopefully). For the past few years I've created an easel calendar / Post-It® Note holder and this has been a popular project. So I see no reason to change my routine. This year's theme is bees, and for that I needed the new Honeybee Home Stamp Set and coordinating Honeybee Blooms Dies. Instead of a ... VIEW POST
Christmas Kitchen Tip With Lots Of Pun
With Christmas only a few days away thoughts now turn to the kitchen. Or more specifically the freezer and the certain knowledge that I'm bound to forget to take something out. While making my last few craft projects I am simultaneously thinking about the food I need/want to prepare. So this is how I ended up with today's bookmark project using some bits from the December Paper Pumpkin kit called Lots of Pun. As well as marking my place in a recipe book my bookmark is going to help me stay ... VIEW POST
Card Trimmings Don’t Go To Waste
Even though as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I get 25% discount on all my orders, I still hate to waste my craft materials. But like most crafters the problem is storing materials and then, more importantly, being able to find what I need. For the past 7 years or so I've used the same system for managing my card trimmings so it's been well tested. I save scraps of all shapes and sizes and yet everything still fits into an 8-1/2" x 10" biscuit tin that sits on my desk. The key to ... VIEW POST
