For someone who used to rarely buy patterned paper I've certainly come a long way. It took me a while, but now I love using it on my projects. The fact that the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin' Up! is a heavier weight, and generally printed on both sides makes it a great investment. Recently I showed you a simple card using a non-floral pattern from the Pansy Petals DSP and I realised I'd been avoiding the flowers. So today I've decided to remedy that with with this #simplestamping ... VIEW POST
Simple Stripes From Pansy Paper
Have you tried Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (DSP)? I love that their paper is quite a heavy weight, much sturdier than the papercraft and scrapbook paper you generally find in stores. Plus the packs all state what colours are used so you can coordinate with Stampin' Up! card, inks and embellishments. In addition, all the regular DSP sheets are double-sided so you get twice the options. You may find the occasional sheet in the 'specialty' DSP packs are single-sided, but that's always ... VIEW POST
Peekaboo Farm For A Fun Day In
What is it about cows and other animal images that makes me want to smile? Over the past couple of years Stampin' Up! artists have designed the cutest stamp sets that I simply can't resist. Right now I may be a little obsessed with Peekaboo Farm. The set contains 15 photopolymer (see-through) stamps; eleven images and four sentiments. The wall image has been designed so that you can stamp one of the five farm animals and make it look like they're peeking over the top. I also love that the ... VIEW POST
Pink And Grey Work Well Together
One of the things I like most about the introduction of new In Colors is the chance to play with colour combinations. One of my favourites is pink and grey, in both dark and light shades. So when I saw the new Polished Pink colour in the 2021-2023 InColors it was a combination I definitely wanted to try. It also gave me another opportunity to break out other new products from the Stampin' Up! 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue. PAPER PIECES My project actually began with the Pansy Petals 12" ... VIEW POST
Stampin’ Up! 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue Is Now Live
After just over a week of sneak peeks the Stampin' Up! 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue is now live for customers. There's now a link to the new catalogue in the column on the right so you can download the PDF. Or there's the French Canadian version of the catalogue if you'd prefer that instead. I've also spent the past few hours adding all the individual links to the new products in my recent sneak peek blog posts. So today I'm simply going to recap all the projects so you can see them here ... VIEW POST
No Petals On Today’s Simple Sunday Project
Today's project is another one featuring new products from the Stampin' Up! 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue. I've already shown you other parts of the Pansy Petals Suite so now it's the turn of the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP). What's unusual about this simple Sunday project is that there's no petals on it at all. That way I could show you that the Pansy Petals DSP is great for masculine/gender neutral projects too. SIMPLE START I began by using my Paper Trimmer to cut and ... VIEW POST
