While I love spending hours creating my projects completely from scratch, sometimes I don’t have the time. That’s when I reach for Stampin’ Up! kits, whether that’s from their online Kits Collection or Paper Pumpkin subscription. The May Paper Pumpkin kit called “Exploring In Color” was simply gorgeous and I’ve never seen so many alternate projects from so many people. In fact many were spookily close to what I’d planned to do. So instead, for this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop I ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing: 10 Years Of Growth
It’s the first Friday in the month and that means it’s time for the A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. This month we’re celebrating ten years of Paper Pumpkin kits with alternate projects using the March 2023 kit. The colour palette used in the aptly named “10 Years Of Growth” kit is absolutely gorgeous and very spring-like. I’ve even created an image using some of these as inspiration for future projects. For my alternate projects I decided to make a card along with a quick and easy gift card ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing: Sunshine & Smiles
It’s the first Friday of the month and that means it’s time for the A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. This month the team has been having a blast playing with the February 2023 kit called “Sunshine & Smiles”. Unusually we got a pretty good feel for this kit after being told it coordinated with the Rain Or Shine suite on pages 50 and 51 of the January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue. That coordination also gave us lots more inspiration and supplies for designing alternate projects with this ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing: Key To My Heart
It’s the first Friday of the month and that means it’s time for another A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. This month we’re having fun creating alternate projects using the January 2023 kit called Key To My Heart. While the timing is perfect for Valentine’s Day, the kit is also great for other love events. For my alternate projects I started with a simple “I love you” card. Then using the Heart Boxes add-on kit and Happy Labels Stamp Set and Punch I created a couple of sweet treat boxes. HEART ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing: From The North Pole
It’s the first Friday in the month and that means it’s time for another A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. This month is all about the November kit called “From The North Pole”. I’ve had lots of fun with this kit including designing alternate projects to the original gift tag designs. This kit is really versatile but what’s even better is that like many Paper Pumpkin kits it’s given me ideas for projects long after the kit is used up. But for today here’s a simple Christmas card and ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing: Spooky Treats
I’m still suffering with a bad cold and it’s definitely slowing me down. Thankfully I’ve improved enough to be able to take part in this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop. Today it’s all about the September 2022 Kit called Spooky Treats. While I’m not a huge fan of Halloween I know a lot of you are, so my first project is a larger box for even more Halloween treats. Then my second project is an easy Christmas idea with a simple trick to disguise those bright box colours. NOT SO SPOOKY ... VIEW POST
