Today is the day we finally say goodbye to the July to December 2022 Mini Catalogue. Starting tomorrow customers will finally be able to order products from the January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue and also earn free Sale-A-Bration items. So for this month’s IDEAS blog hop we decided to focus on what we love from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. I chose the free Day At The Farm 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP), even though I don’t have the coordinating stamp set and dies from the Mini Catalogue ... VIEW POST
Peekaboo Family
My regular readers will know I’m a complete sucker for cute animal and people images. Somehow the Stampin’ Up! artists always seem to put great expressions on the faces which always makes me smile. That’s why I fell in love with the Peekaboo Farm Stamp Set. These kind of images work well with almost any sentiment and I’ve had lots of fun finding new combinations. One of my favourite sentiments to use with animal images is “You made a little human!” as shown in this sweet and simple baby ... VIEW POST
Sun Prints Is Such A Treat
Today is going to be a good day. The sun is shining and there’s a gentle breeze to help the washing dry. More important though is that my order from the Stampin’ Up! 2022/2023 Annual Catalogue is being delivered today. With that in mind I plan to get the chores done early and clear my afternoon so I can play for a few hours. But first, here’s a little treat package / table favour created using the Sun Prints 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Pretty Pillowbox Dies. SUN PRINTS ... VIEW POST
Ornate Layers Is Leaving Too
The list of retiring products that are now completely sold out continues to grow, particularly stamp sets. So today I decided that my project would feature just one retiring item, the Ornate Layers Dies. As the name suggests this set cuts ornate layers for cards and other papercraft projects. Two of the 8 dies cut a decorative pattern into the centre of a layer, while the rest create solid layers with fancy edges. These can then be used by themselves or stacked, which is what I opted to do ... VIEW POST
Peekaboo Farm Animals at Christmas?
A few weeks ago I was challenged to create a project using layout sketch as my inspiration. This was based on the card in the bottom right-hand corner on page 88 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. The original card uses products from the very Christmassy Tidings of Christmas suite so I was determined to make a non-Christmas card. With that in mind I selected the Peekaboo Farm Stamp Set and set to work. It's only now, weeks later, that I'm struck by a certain irony. What could be more ... VIEW POST
Let’s Go Back To Peekaboo Farm
My regular readers will know that I'm a bit obsessed with the Peekaboo Farm Stamp Set. I admit I've found it hard to put down and love all five of the cute farm animals. Over the past few weeks I've deliberately avoided using it, but I could only resist for so long. I eventually gave in and made a really quick card for today's simple Sunday project. From the Peekaboo Farm Stamp set I chose the cow image, plus a Soft Suede ink Pad. To keep things really simple I decided not to use the ... VIEW POST
