One of the things I like to remind my customers about is that almost all Designer Series Paper (DSP) retires at the end of the catalogue period in which they appear. This year, of all the DSP in the 2020/2021 Annual Catalogue only the In Good Taste 12" x 12" DSP is being carried over. For the most part I look forward to seeing new paper designs but there's one particular issue I want to highlight. This is that when a particular paper pack that's retiring coordinates with a stamp set, dies or ... VIEW POST
Touched My Heart Will Retire Soon
Among all the uncertainty over the forthcoming Retiring List one thing we can be sure of, all Host stamp sets will retire. This is because these exclusive sets are only available to purchase using 'Stampin' Rewards' earned for hosting a qualifying party or submitting a qualifying order. They are always retired at the end of the catalogue in which they appear and replaced with all new stamp sets. They're right at the back of the catalogues and easily missed which is a shame. Beautiful Moments Beautiful Card
I really enjoy creating scenes and projects using images of people and/or animals and for that reason I'm always drawn to certain stamp sets. When you visit the stores most card displays are a sea of red, and hearts abound. But often I feel that the designs are quite feminine, so today I wanted to do something a little different. GREY BASE I began this card several times, first with a card base in Pretty Peacock. Then I changed to Gray Granite, and I even toyed with Whisper White. Nothing really ... VIEW POST
Create A Sweet And Simple Treat Package
Today's project is so simple I'm surprised I haven't tried it before. While I was out shopping yesterday I treated myself to some York Peppermint Patties. I admit I may be slightly addicted to these sweet treats, so before they all disappear I decided to make a quick treat package to hold two of them. SIMPLE WRAP I began by stacking two of the patties so I could get an idea of the size of paper I'd need to wrap them. After a little trial and error I cut a 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" strip of ... VIEW POST
