Today is November 11th and a day to remember all those who lost their lives, or have been affected by conflict. I created a simple poppy using the Poppy Moments Dies and attached it to wooden clothes pin (peg). Then I stamped "Always remember" from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. Finally I cut out the sentiment using a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies and added that to the peg. This project now sits on my desk as a way to keep important notes. Wood You Please Stop Me Next Time
So this morning I sat down to create a panel for a paper carrier bag. Everything started out fine, I decided to create flowers using the Poppy Moments Dies. Then I pulled out the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack for my background. And that's when things took a detour. You see I got caught up in all the gorgeous wood patterns. Then this morning when I was searching for ... VIEW POST

So I let everyone on my newsletter e-mail list know, and placed a big order for myself. There's a good mix of paper, inks, embellishments, stamps and of course the odd bundle or four. What I did ... A Wreath For Valentine’s Day and Beyond
Just recently I found a cute heart-shaped rattan wreath in the Valentine's section in Dollarama, and at just $3 CAD couldn't resist adding it to my basket. It was actually two pieces, a grey solid heart hanging inside a white open heart frame. They were held together with a simple piece of ribbon so I decided to remove the ribbon and separate the pieces to make two projects. Yesterday I began with the open frame piece and a quick idea for a pretty wreath. VALENTINE'S POPPIES I wanted ... VIEW POST
