And just like that it’s time for another simple Sunday project. With only two more days to wait for the early release of the Fitting Florets Collection I have one last sneak peek for you. This card doesn’t actually use the Framed Florets Stamp Set or coordinating dies. Instead I wanted to bring you a pretty birthday card celebrating the Fitting Florets 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper. Like the rest of the collection it will be available starting November 1st, however this paper is only available ... VIEW POST
Garlands Of Stars
If you’ve read my blog over the past few weeks you’ll know that I love the Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up! This pack of 6” x 6” paper has 48 sheets (4 each of 12 double-sided designs). But the best part is that the vast majority of these patterns are not just for Christmas. There’s Christmas trees of course, but also all-occasion bokeh type patterns too (more about that next week). Today however I bring you a birthday card featuring garlands of dots and ... VIEW POST
Very Best Occasions
I’ve made it to Wednesday, and even though I still have a long to-do list I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s bright and sunny out as well which makes me feel I can tackle anything. There’s only two more days until the July to December Mini Catalogue goes live and today’s sneak peek is a new stamp set called Very Best Occasions. It’s a sentiment-only set with clean and elegant fonts, so with two other new products I couldn’t resist creating this card. LIGHTS AGLOW ... VIEW POST
Simply Marbleous Satin Paper
Well yesterday was interesting. Hubby was out with the snowblower for more than 5 hours trying to clear our driveway after the snowstorm. But with the sunshine revealing the patterns carved in the snow by the wind I was reminded of the free Simply Marbleous 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP). So that's what I wanted to ... VIEW POST
Three Stamp Sets For One Birthday Card
I must apologise for the late arrival of today's blog post. Today is obviously going to be one of those days where things take that much longer to get done. What's frustrating is that my birthday card project was done and photographed yesterday. But I've not been nearly as efficient this morning. In my defence I've had long video chat with my daughter and twin 9-month old grandbabies, and taken the garbage to the end of the drive in the snow. One very enjoyable distraction and the other, ... Timeless Tulips For A Sympathy Card
At a recent craft fair I was struck by the number of people looking for get well, thinking of you and sympathy cards. Most said that while they hoped never to need to send them, it was something they always kept on hand. That way if they did need to send a card they had one that could go in the mail the same day. So when I was thinking about making a card for today's blog I immediately thought of a sympathy card. Out came the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set and I got to work. BEAUTY OF THE ... VIEW POST
