Today has been a bit of a mixed bag. My usual routine has been completely disrupted by a couple of important appointments and I’ve struggled to get back on track. Still, the drive into town was really pretty and I spotted quite a few trees making a head start on their autumn finery. While I often think of autumn as full of bright reds and oranges the early part of the season is more subdued. So this project hints at those subtle changes from green to peach and brown tones. Daffodil Project For St David’s Day
Well my day isn't going to plan. I had a very manageable to do list of relatively quick jobs but haven't ticked off much. Now an extra unexpected and more important issue has come up and my day looks very different. So while I get on with that I hope you enjoy the project I created to mark St. David's Day. It's a pretty thank you card using the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set and coordinating Daffodil Dies from Stampin' Up! There’s also a quick tip for using watercolour pencils ... VIEW POST

Happy Day? Let’s Wait And See
If you're seeing this blog post then it means I managed to finish before Hurricane Teddy hit. I made this "Happy Anniversary" card ahead of time so you'd have a blog post to read whatever happened here. So now you can enjoy this, and today's stamp sale, while I work on tomorrow's project and blog post. Just in case... GORGEOUS PAPER As I began my project, once again I was drawn to the Gilded Autumn 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. This time I chose the less 'autumnal' ... VIEW POST

We're now into the second half of the year and December will be here before we know it. So I've resolved to make a few Christmas projects every week to save myself some stress. Today's project is a sweet card that will have you singing to yourself while you make it. At least that's what happened to me as I put the partridge in my pear wreath. FIRST THE WREATH I began by creating the wreath background from the Arrange A Wreath Stamp Set. The wreath is quite large and personally I find ... VIEW POST
