Did you see yesterday's five star kick off to my January to June Mini Catalogue sneak peeks? Today's project is a simple card using another new stamp set. Daffodil Daydream is simply gorgeous and perfect for spring crafting. There are two main daffodil images, a butterfly, a decorative border, and a fine splatter image. The "Easter blessings" and "Happy Mother's Day" sentiments are quite specific and not everyone will need, these but that's just two stamps out of the set. Oh, and did I ... VIEW POST
Angels Of Peace Simply Designed
There's something about the Angels of Peace Stamp Set that keeps me going back for more. The two angels are simple line drawings that work well coloured or just left as they are. Plus the sentiments are so pretty, and some of them can be used outside of the Christmas season too. So far I've found that creating projects using the Angels of Peace Stamp Set has been a quick process. This was a an important consideration during my recent World Card Making Day "24 cards in 24 hours" challenge. ... VIEW POST
Positive News For Discounted Stamp Sets!

So I was delighted to see that tomorrow Stampin' Up! is offering almost all cling ... VIEW POST
Finding My Own Peaceful Place
When life gets tough or particularly stressful I turn to books. Finding a place to sit quietly and read is my way to switch off and allow my mind and body to find a moment of peace. Taking time for reflection or escape though books is the reason that I love bookmarks. Since I've started counting I've made almost four ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing – Hope Box
Today I'm taking part in the monthly A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop. This month it's all about the August kit called Hope Box. JUST HOPE For my first project I wanted to create something that was pretty clean and simple. The result was this "Hope" card. I began with the pink splattered card base and 12" of the gorgeous Blackberry Bliss 1" ribbon from the kit. I wrapped the ribbon around the card front and secured the ends on the front in the centre using Tear & Tape ... VIEW POST
Create A Blessings Jar For Thanksgiving
As Thanksgiving approaches (it's on October 11 here in Canada) thoughts turn to everything I'm grateful for. No matter what stresses I have, I can always find at least one reason to be thankful. So it seemed the perfect time to write them down on slips of paper. That way when I'm having a tough day I can look back at them to restore my perspective on life. With that in mind this morning I sat down and created this blessings jar. BELLY BAND The jar itself is just a standard 8oz ... VIEW POST
