Today is going to be a little sad as Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators in Canada say goodbye to Dale Hampshire. He’s been at the helm of Stampin’ Up! Canada since it first started 20 years ago, and has been the most amazing manager. To mark the occasion I created a special card using the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set. “It’s your time to be remembered, to feel appreciated, and to know you’re celebrated”. Happy retirement Dale, your wit and wisdom will ... VIEW POST
Retirement Day Is Here
Anyone else excited by retirement? Today's the day that we find out which Stampin' Up! products are being discontinued. However we must wait just a little longer as the Retiring List won't be revealed until 4pm Atlantic (1pm MT). At the same time, Stampin' Up! Velveteen Paper May Be Retired
It's less than a week before Stampin' Up! announces which products will be retiring from the 2020/2021 Annual Catalogue. I try not to get to hung up about it as it means there's new products coming. Still, I have a few personal predictions and today's project features one of those, Color Velveteen Paper. The Color Velveteen Paper has a beautifully soft textured surface and it cuts just like ordinary card. I love it, but I haven't seen a whole lot of projects using it so that's why I suspect ... Retirement Brings A New Adventure
Today's project has it all. A retiring stamp set, a video showing a couple of techniques, and a new take on a continuing stamp set. At the end there's also a sneak peek from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue that goes live on June 3rd. It all started because I wanted to make one last card using the retiring On To Adventure Stamp Set... OFF CAMERA PREPARATIONS In order to keep my video fairly short I decided to do a few things off camera first. Using my Paper Trimmer I cut some Thick ... VIEW POST
