Just recently a couple of friends have both lost close members of their family. Sympathy card are hard to make but I know first hand how comforting it is to receive them. When preparing to make today's card I automatically reached for the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set and specifically the lone pine tree image. By itself, this tree could be seen as quite sad, but I prefer to look at it as something that has weathered the storms, and still stands strong. It's forever shaped by what has happened ... VIEW POST
Nature’s wonders
One of the things I really noticed when I returned home from my vacation was how much our property had changed in the space of 3 weeks. Then I attached the piece to a ... VIEW POST
I can’t leaf it alone

I must say right now that I didn't want to like this set, I thought that it was a little too like others that I have, most notably Lovely As A Tree, and what's with that huge slice of tree trunk? Well, while I didn't want to like the set, it was one of the ones we were given to play with at a Stampin' Up! event I attended in Connecticut last month, and I ... VIEW POST
