In less than 4 weeks I will have a copy of the Stampin' Up! 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue in my hands. What's more I will most likely have already placed my first order for new products too! It's an exciting time to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. While I love getting the new catalogue it is a double-edged sword as it means we'll also know what products are being retired for good. Don't worry, I'll be giving you regular reminders of what's going so you can stock up before it's too late. ... VIEW POST
Lasting Sentiments
There are some stamp sets that I will probably never resell. Some are because I simply love the images, or I have a sentimental attachment to them. Mostly though it's because of the words. I find that while you can generally swap one image for a similar one, the same isn't true of certain sentiments. One of the sets that seems to be falling into that camp is Lasting Lily. Not only is the font gorgeous, but the phrases are timeless too. A BIT OF AN ACCIDENT The leafy background for ... VIEW POST
Bad Puns and #WWYS210
Do you ever find yourself dragging out a childhood memory and thinking about those really bad puns and jokes? Well I have to say that's exactly what I found myself doing with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set So Hoppy Together. So when I realised that the What Will You Stamp? challenge #WWYS210 used this set, I couldn't resist any longer. So here's what happened, I saw the frog with the glasses and thought that he looked very studious. Then that made me think of reading, and of course ... VIEW POST
A Card I Hope You Won’t Need
One the hardest types of card to make is sympathy card. I like to keep them simple and quiet with very little fussiness. The Kindness & Compassion Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! is perfect for this. It's a sentiment only set which means you can leave it plain or add your own imagery if you want. It also has sentiments for the inside of the cards too which is invaluable. I addition to sending sympathy, the set includes a sympathy thank you sentiment, and I decided to use this for my Simple ... VIEW POST
Three Wishes Granted
It's March 1st and that means the last month of the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration promotion. This is where you can get exclusive products for free, simply for placing a qualifying order. Most of the free items are 'level 1' which means you can get one of these for every $60 CAD spent before shipping and taxes. There are also a few higher value 'level 2' items that can be chosen with $120 of purchases (before shipping and taxes). While this is great, Stampin' Up! is aware of customer ... VIEW POST
Turning the Corner
A couple of days ago I was working with the Detailed Trio Punch to create a gift tag. While I was filming the short video tutorial I was reminded that it's called a trio punch for a reason. As well as the oval hole that I used for my tag, there are two other punch elements. One adds a little floral style motif in the corner, while the other rounds the corner itself. So for today's quick and easy project design I decided to put the corner rounder to work. POSITIVELY PURPLE It's no ... VIEW POST
