The snowstorms that have been coming in every few days are seriously cramping my crafting. While I love to stay home and play in my studio, my parcels of new goodies are being delayed. Let's hope for a couple of days of good weather and then I'll be happy to be snowed in once again. So without any new products to explore I decided to go back to the Special Someone Stamp Set. I love the cute animals and other images and they're such fun to colour (or not). FIRST CATCH YOUR ... VIEW POST
Pretty Poppies With A Familiar Story
Yes it's time for another winter storm, followed by a day to clean up before the next one hits. Did I tell you I'm ready for winter to be over? It's no wonder I was inspired to create this bookmark with pretty poppies and "new beginnings" sentiment. COLOURED POPPIES I began with a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Thick Whisper White Card shaped at the top using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Then using some Stampin' Sponge I added a light coating of Seaside Spray ink. Towards the bottom of ... VIEW POST
The Power Of Sneak Peeks

Sitting Here Wishing For Spring
In a little over a week it will be the shortest day of the year. Then we can look forward to the warmer days of spring. Of course we still have winter for a couple of months yet, but a girl can dream... SIMPLE SPRING SCENE I began today's project with a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Thick Whisper White Card. To create the bookmark base I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch which shapes the top and punches the ribbon slot in one go. Then using Pear Pizzazz ink I stamped the flower outline ... VIEW POST
Masculine Bookmark (By Customer Request)
Yesterday I spent most of the day at the Fundy Geological Museum in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. It was their annual Christmas Craft Fair and the 6th year I've attended. It was lovely once again to see so many people supporting a wide range of crafters and buying local. I love talking with those that stop by my table and getting their feedback on my creations. One person was specifically looking for a masculine bookmark and I realised that I didn't have a lot for her choose from. So for today's ... VIEW POST
Taking Time To Tie A Tassel
As I sit down to write this blog post the wind is howling and we're preparing for what could be three days of bad weather. Thankfully we still have power at the moment although were preparing for it to go out at some point. We're still not out of the woods yet so this tassel tag project will be a quick one. FIRST THE TAG I began but cutting a piece of Thick Whisper White Card 2" x 4-1/4". Then I shaped one end using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. On top of that I attached some Real ... VIEW POST
