What a start to September we’ve had! It seems like Mother Nature said “That’s it, summer’s over, you’re done”. It’s very wet and windy, but unlike the summer storms it’s also dark and gloomy too. Over that past few weeks I’ve been actively thinking about where I find the inspiration for my projects. However today was one of those days when inspiration came looking for me. Birthday Salutations
Today we’re due for rain. A lot of rain. I won’t be able to hang out the washing but it’s desperately needed, especially over the wildfires. It’s cooler too and I was reminded that autumn will be upon us very soon. In fact I’ve already started so see mushrooms and toadstools popping up in the wilder parts of our garden. Happy Sunday! It’s going to be another hot one here in Nova Scotia. Still, it could be worse. I have a number of things to get done but I’m going to pace myself.
