You’ve probably noticed I’ve been AWOL for the past couple of weeks. During this time I’ve been dealing with health issues which are thankfully on the way to being resolved. But it’s been an odd time. As well as not writing my daily blog, I’ve not been crafting either! However tomorrow I’m celebrating 10 years as an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and it’s the perfect time to get going again. So here’s a simple birthday card using the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set for this month’s Share It ... VIEW POST
Joy Of Foiled Paper
With all the excitement about the new Online Exclusive products launched this week something important slipped my mind. Next Tuesday Stampin’ Up! will reveal the January to April Mini Catalogue to Demonstrators. While that’s all very exciting, it does mean they’re also preparing to retire most of the products in the current Mini Catalogue and if there’s anything you really want you may not have much time left. So while they’re still available here’s a card using the Joy Of Noel Stamp Set and ... VIEW POST
Meandering Meadow
So today I have some good news and some bad news. First the bad… The All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) that has been wildly popular over the past few months has sold out again. However no more stock is expected and so this item is now officially discontinued. The good news for DSP lovers is the Meandering Meadows 6” x 6” DSP pack is available starting today. I’m sure this will also be very popular so don’t be surprised if it goes in and out of stock too. MEANDERING SCENES I ... VIEW POST
Gilded Border & Altered Paper
This week’s simple Sunday blog post is short and sweet with an idea for an easy gender-neutral thank you card. This was actually number 23 in my ‘24 cards in 24 hours’ marathon last month. Despite almost running out of time the card includes a couple of simple ways to get more from your patterned paper. This is definitely a favourite theme of mine as the more ways I can find to use my paper the less waste there is. So with markers and Gilded Leafing I set to work. ALTERED PAPER I began ... VIEW POST
Timeless Sentiment
Returning to my theme of getting the most out of my pretty paper, today’s project is one that really does have year-round appeal. The starry patterns in the O Holy Night 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack are definitely not just for Christmas. So as part of last month’s ‘24 cards in 24 hours’ marathon I created this card with a simple angled layer. The “you are so kind” sentiment is from the Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set. This is another set that works well without the coordinating ... VIEW POST
Autumn In Name Only
If you’ve been waiting for the All About Autumn 6” x 6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to be restocked, you’re in luck. However as with previous deliveries it may still not be enough to keep up with the demand. So it seems I’m consistently juggling my projects around this issue. Today therefore I’ve a simple gender-neutral card created during my recent 24 cards in 24 hours marathon. This one was designed to be an all-season card showing off the gorgeous copper foil patterns on the back of ... VIEW POST
