As the days go by more and more items on the Retiring List are selling out. Sometimes customers like to wait and see if products are going to be reduced and that can happen. However I usually tell my customers to weigh up how badly they want a particular product and whether it's worth missing out completely just because they hoped to save a few dollars? Something that rarely gets reduced is retiring stamp sets, as Stampin' Up! make these and adjusts production to closely meet demand. This is ... VIEW POST
Seeing The Last Of Seaside Spray
Today's card really is the final one using the retiring Seaside Spray ink. It's a beautiful blue colour that I am going to miss terribly. So it seems only fitting that my final project is a sympathy card. DOG SYMPATHY The Pampered Pets Stamp Set is one I've had for a while but not used much. It contains images of two dogs and two cats plus some great sentiments that are not specifically pet related. Today I began with a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Very Vanilla Card and using Early ... VIEW POST
Special Someone For Some Heal-ium
Today's project is another from my 2020 World Cardmaking Day personal challenge that I haven't yet shown you. This get well card has a very simple layout with a punny sentiment from the Special Someone Stamp Set. To add interest I used the coordinating Special Day Dies and also the Balloon Bouquet Punch. SUBTLE LAYERS This project was really all about the two-part sentiment, so I decided to keep the rest of card quite subtle. I began by using my Paper Trimmer to cut and score a ... VIEW POST
Improvising With Forever Flourishing Dies

Then in the evening and overnight rain was forecast, in fact a lot of rain. So now almost all the snow has gone and we're enjoying sunshine and blue sky. That makes me much happier and I ... Camouflage Cover For A Quick Campology Project
It's no secret that I love notebooks, and I love decorating them even more. The problem is that designs with lots of embellishments are not suitable for carrying in a pocket or throwing into the centre console in a car. For that reason I decided to decorate a notebook that would be more practical in these circumstances. So with a camouflage pattern from the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack I set to work. CAMOUFLAGE COVER I began with the camouflage paper and a ... VIEW POST
Ornamental Swinging Tags Inspiration
With Christmas right around the corner it's time to get going on wrapping those parcels. For me that inevitably means making more gift tags. Today's swinging gift tag project uses the retiring Ornamental Envelopes Stamp Set and coordinating dies. But if you don't have that bundle to hand, think of it as more of an idea. Perhaps you have bell images, or parcel images. In fact you could use just about anything. ORNAMENTAL ENVELOPES?! With no actual envelopes in sight today you might ... VIEW POST
