Where do you get your colour inspiration? I often make a note of colour combinations I see on clothes and household linens while I’m shopping. I also love to wander around the garden and take my cue from nature. In the summer there’s lots of pinks, reds and oranges. Autumn also has these colours, but the tones are quite different. Winter brings neutral colours like greys and browns. But right now I see blues and purples, and that’s what I was thinking of when I created today’s pretty card ... VIEW POST
Caught Up In The Moment
I’ve always been enthralled by nature, and even more so since moving to Nova Scotia. We’re very fortunate to have a large piece of land that attracts all sorts of wildlife. He's a sweet black cat, 11 years old now, but still spritely enough to catch the occasional mouse. Last month right in the middle of my 24 cards in 24 hours challenge Houdini caught me unawares and brought a live mouse into the ... VIEW POST
Nature’s Harvest For A Thank You Card

My recent 24 cards in 24 hours marathon for World Card Making Day was just such an occasion. With the Nature's Harvest Stamp Set in my hand I needed something interesting but quick to put together. This was the result... NATURE'S HARVEST CONEFLOWER There's something about the coneflower in the ... VIEW POST
