After yesterday’s very dramatic black gift tag I thought I should bring you a complete contrast for today’s project. So from my collection of cards created during my personal “24 cards in 24 hours” challenge I chose this birthday card. The design is really easy to do and uses no special techniques or tools. The fun part here was creating my own background design using the Framed Florets Stamp Set and three Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The colours are a favourite combination of Old Olive, ... Black For Christmas?
This morning’s papercraft project was inspired by a number of different ‘crafty’ posts that I’ve seen on social media over the past few days. These all caught my eye as they used black cardstock as their base. I was immediately struck by how the decoration really popped out against the black background. So having more Basic Black Card scraps around than I’d like, I decided to use some to create a Christmas gift tag. Also among my scraps I found a die-cut floral piece and it all progressed from ... Peekaboo Family
My regular readers will know I’m a complete sucker for cute animal and people images. Somehow the Stampin’ Up! artists always seem to put great expressions on the faces which always makes me smile. That’s why I fell in love with the Peekaboo Farm Stamp Set. These kind of images work well with almost any sentiment and I’ve had lots of fun finding new combinations. One of my favourite sentiments to use with animal images is “You made a little human!” as shown in this sweet and simple baby ... VIEW POST

So when I was working on my personal 24 cards in 24 hours challenge I came up with a simple design that’s easy to copy, using the In The Moment Stamp Set and Stampin’ ... VIEW POST
Peaceful Snowy Morning
With a very long list of things I want to accomplish today I decided to get up early. I love getting up while it’s still dark, and try to time my first coffee break so I can watch the sun rise. Today I was in for another treat as we had a dusting of snow too. There’s something very peaceful about fresh snow on the ground, especially when there’s not so much it will have to be shovelled. It also inspired this quick robin project made for a good friend. PEACEFUL MOMENTS I began by ... VIEW POST
Punch Stock Levels
Like lots of papercrafters I seem to have a permanent ‘wish list’ on the go. Some things like adhesives, basic cardstock and envelopes reappear on a regular basis. Others like stamp sets, tools, patterned papers and embellishments can sit there for a while. Over time I’ll either buy them or change my mind. I keep an eye on stock levels at Stampin’ Up! so I can act and also warn my customers when something is showing low inventory. This is the situation with the Label Me Lovely Punch used ... VIEW POST
