I know I’ve said it before, but I love the Fond Of Autumn Stamp Set. First there’s a gorgeous large image that is perfect for a card front. Then there’s three smaller images that are great for decorating envelopes and the inside of cards. In addition there’s also a banner image and six sentiments. But what I love the most are the unusual features of the coordinating Autumn Bouquet Dies. I showcased these dies in two previous blog posts, and today’s project is the last in this three part ... Summer Meadow
It’s going to be another one of those hot and humid days. With a heat warning in place I’ve just closed up all the windows and drawn the curtains. That should keep the house relatively cool as the temperature begins to climb. Later, once it starts to cool again and the onshore breeze picks up, I’ll open up the house again. In the meantime I shall be mostly crafting. Today’s project was inspired by the pretty butterflies I saw while mowing a path through our flower meadow at the ... VIEW POST
IDEAS Blog Hop: Wonderful World
It’s August 1st and time for another IDEAS blog hop. This month our theme is “enjoying Sale-A-Bration” so the IDEAS team have designed and created projects with celebrations in mind. Of course it goes without saying that they also use exclusive products from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. For my Tutorial Bundle projects I decided to use the gorgeous Wonderful World 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper. It’s only available as part of a free bundle, so I used the coordinating stamp set to create two ... VIEW POST
Tags Dies Altered Again
A little while ago I created a bookmark and included a video showing how I made the 5-1/2” long base using a much shorter cutting die. So now my sentiment label would coordinate perfectly with the tag base. Then using a few scraps left over from earlier projects I created this Christmas tag. BASIC ... VIEW POST
No Pillowbox Either
Yesterday I brought you a sneak peek of another new paper pack from the July to December Mini Catalogue. Despite the Boughs of Holly name there was no holly on my project (and very little in the pack as a whole). Today’s sneak peek features one of the gorgeous new ribbons that will be available from Friday. With a combination of Very Vanilla satin and shiny gold it’s definitely not just for Christmas. To show off the ribbon I pulled out the Pretty Pillowbox Dies, but didn’t make a ... VIEW POST
Artistic Mask Mosaic
What a stressful morning I’ve had. I’m on my 3rd coffee and it’s not helping, please send chocolate! Despite planning ahead, technology let me down and I’ve spent the past few hours trying to resolve issues. As a result I’ve only just been able to finish today’s blog post. Still, I hope you think my first project and video using the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks was worth the wait. Of all the masks Stampin’ Up! has created in recent years I think the Artistic Mix set is their best ... VIEW POST
