It's Sunday, Mother's Day here in Canada and I woke up knowing exactly what I was going to make. It was all going fine right up until I remembered I needed to print off a photo of myself with my daughter and granddaughter. It was only then I realised that I hadn't yet received my delivery of printer ink. So while I can show you my project, you'll have to imagine the photo in place. PHOTO MAT This photo frame project was really quick to put together. I started with a piece of Thick ... VIEW POST
A Card for Mother’s Day
Happy North American Mother's Day (the UK had their Mother's Day back in March). Today's Simple Sunday project had to be a Mother's Day card, but would work with any number of other sentiments. MOTHER'S DAY TEA TOGETHER I began my project by stamping the rose image from the Tea Together Stamp Set in the bottom right corner on a layer of Very Vanilla Card using Tuxedo Black ink. Then I stamped it again onto a scrap of Thick Very Vanilla Card. Instead of my usual yellow rose I ... VIEW POST
Tea Together for #WWYS216
I'm so pleased that this week's stamp set for the What Will You Stamp? challenge will be in the 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue from Stampin Up! Also making an appearance in that new catalogue will be coordinating dies for this stamp set. But my Design Team project for #WWYS216 - Tea Together, uses a different die today, the retiring Celebrate You Thinlits. Mother’s Day In The UK

As my daughter and granddaughter live in the UK I think I should get Mother's Day twice, although my daughter does not always agree with me on this. Still, that didn't stop me creating today's Simple Sunday project. MOTHER'S DAY I don't drink tea, but I fell in love with the Tea Together Stamp Set, especially one particular sentiment. As soon as I saw it I knew I'd have ... VIEW POST
Two Types Of Marker
I was talking with a customer recently about Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and the expanding range of colours that are now available. During our chat I happened to mention that she could use any of the Stampin' Up! Classic Stampin' Pads to stamp her images. This came as a surprise to her, and it occurred to me that this might be a fact that's not widely known. It also got me thinking about the two types of marker sold by Stampin' Up! So for today's project I want to show just one way to ... VIEW POST
Love Is Drinking The Tea
When I was a little girl visiting our grandparents was a real treat. We didn't always have a car so it didn't happen as much as any of us would have liked. When we did go I remember being reminded about manners and acceptable behaviour. Not that we needed reminding, the way our grandparents behaved and spoke was reminder enough. When Grandma would offer us a plate of biscuits we only took one, and had to be persuaded to take a second. Mum always mentioned that Grandma was never asked "how ... VIEW POST
