Today is going to be another busy day in the craft studio for me. Like many Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators right now I’m preparing for the end of the current annual and mini catalogues. In addition there will be a colour refresh, and we’ll find out more about that when we get our first look at the 2023/2024 Annual Catalogue next week. Today’s project uses my favourite Go To Greetings Stamp Set, along with the Texture Chic 12” x 12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) which is virtually guaranteed ... VIEW POST
Valentine Treat
We’re halfway through February and it’s Valentine’s Day. Of course in Nova Scotia that means I’m currently listening to the wind and wondering how much more snow we’ll get. My plan is to stay indoors and sort out some things in my craft studio until I’m inevitably distracted and end up crafting instead. That’s exactly what happened yesterday when I found some Simply Classic Treat Boxes and made this project. These boxes are retired, BUT are still available in the Clearance Rack at 40% off, ... Many Thanks
Did you realise the Stampin’ Up! 2022/2023 Annual Catalogue is nearing its end? Not immediately, but it’s getting to that time of year when things may start to sell out. So I decided to pull out some products that are available but I think will be retired. Today’s project is a sweet card and envelope to use when leaving servers their tips. It features one of the Thanks & Hello Embossing Folders, the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies and Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set. All are on my ‘at risk’ ... VIEW POST
Celebrating With Chic
While Christmas Day is now over there’s still quite a bit of celebrating to do in the next week or so. Boxing Day is often an extension of the Christmas festivities. Then I have my daughter’s birthday, as well as New Year to look forward to. So with that in mind I wanted to bring you another ‘idea’ project that you might find useful. It’s a fun way to dress up a wine or other bottle you might gift to a host, using simple layering with some ribbon and embellishments. LAYERED OVER THE ... VIEW POST
Simply Paper And Ribbon
Well we survived the storm overnight and the power stayed on. Not everyone was so lucky and I sincerely hope they can be reconnected in time for Christmas. It’s Christmas Eve and we no longer have weeks, or even days to complete our preparations. Instead the panic is driven by mere hours and minutes. So today’s very quick project is more of an idea than a specific how-to. Simply grab some pretty paper that works with your colour scheme, a little ribbon and one or two bits from the garden. I ... Stepping Stones Simplicity
Yesterday seemed to be another one of those days with lots of things to do and not enough time to do it in. Despite starting early I have a number of carry-over items on my to-do list today. But first I wanted to bring you instructions for another card designed and made during my personal “24 cards in 24 hours” challenge. The layout for this one is very simple and uses a 6” x 6” piece of patterned paper plus a very large sentiment from the Stepping Stones Stamp Set. TEXTURE CHIC I began ... VIEW POST
