Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian followers and friends. I hope you're able to celebrate today in some way. While most of us enjoy a welcome day off, not everyone is so lucky. I'm thinking particularly of all the medical and emergency workers who will spend their day doing their job as usual while the rest of us relax. And it's not just those who are officially employed in those roles who deserve our thanks. Living in rural Nova Scotia we look to our volunteer fire department for ... VIEW POST
Deer In The Garden Make Me Happy
Now that the days are getting shorter it definitely feels like the garden is starting to wind down. We've been leaving some of our windfall apples on the ground and they regularly attract the deer. With a simple change of sentiment you could have a card for a birthday, baby shower, wedding, anything. So now I've added that to my design ideas list for a future blog post. But first, here's my original Christmas ... VIEW POST
Tidings & Trimmings First Project
I had to work unexpectedly on Friday and Saturday which was a shame as my latest Stampin' Up! order was due. It was here when I got home Friday but I had no time to play until today. So when I was thinking of a Simple Sunday project I couldn't help but reach for the new stuff. In the end the Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set and coordinating Tidings of Christmas paper provided the inspiration I needed. TIDINGS OF CHRISTMAS The Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) is a pack ... VIEW POST
