Despite arriving back from the UK late on Saturday night, it wasn't until yesterday at I felt like I was home. Mind you I'm under mandatory quarantine for 14 days and so restricted to just three rooms. It's not all bad though because in addition to my bedroom and bathroom, I have one other room where I can spend my day, my craft studio. With the weather very hot and muggy yesterday I was drawn to the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set. I haven't used this set in ages, and it appears I haven't used ... VIEW POST
Lighthearted Lines Inspired Me Once Again
My regular readers will know that I love finding new and interesting sentiments to use on my projects. Sometimes they're part of a stamp set with both images and sentiments. Other times they're part of a sentiment only set like the new Lighthearted Lines. This set of eight stamps has somewhat larger sentiments, although they're certainly not huge. Some of them could also be 'edited' with the first part stamped on the front of a card and the second part on the inside. Today though I kept ... VIEW POST
Remember It’s Almost Father’s Day
It's only 11 days to Father's Day so I've been thinking about masculine and gender-neutral projects. Last month I showed you a decorated pocket photo album for Father's Day, and today I have another gift idea. It's been ages since I jazzed up a Post-It® Note pad, so that's what I set out to create. It's a simple design using the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Days To Remember Stamp Set. BEAUTY OF THE EARTH I really love the Beauty of the Earth DSP. With rich ... Plot Twist And Thinking Outside The Box
When you're an avid papercrafter like me you get used to having all your tools and materials close at hand. It's only when you can't get to everything you appreciate how fortunate you are. When I first saw the "plot twist!" sentiment I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I mean it practically screamed "bookmark". So the minute I got my hands on the Lighthearted Lines Stamp Set that's what I sat down to make. Little did I realise that I'd have to be very creative if I wanted to get it ... VIEW POST
Pansy Patch For Flowers And Sentiments
As well as the pretty flowers, I decided to buy the new Pansy Patch Stamp Set because of the sentiments. There's the always useful "Thank you" and "Happy birthday", plus "love you much" and "A little hello from me to you". In addition there's a couple of larger sentiments that are perfect for bookmarks. So with that in mind I sat down to create today's new catalogue sneak peek project. ABSTRACT TREES As I was playing with the Pansy Patch Stamp Set I also found the new Tailor Made ... VIEW POST
Brightly Gleaming One Final Time
We're now at the point where retiring products are selling out and others are showing as low inventory. So that makes it harder for me to create projects using items are still available to buy. Today I managed it using my favourite but retiring Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set. I paired it with the tree-scape die from the retiring Home Together Dies. Then I overlaid that onto a stunning design from the retiring Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper (DSP). BRIGHTLY GLEAMING ... VIEW POST
