Today is an exciting day for me as I join the IDEAS Design Team in time for their November blog hop and Tutorial PDF release. This month the theme is "Punch It Up" and our brief was to create projects using our favourite punch. I could have chosen something that coordinates with a stamp set, but opted for something completely different instead. I decided to focus on the punch I use more than any other, the Detailed Trio Punch. SNOWMAN SEASON OK I know I've used the Snowman Season Stamp ... VIEW POST
Fields of Perennial Flowers
Summer seems to have finally arrived and in my part of Nova Scotia everything is blooming. I love the riot of colour that this season brings and everywhere I look there's flowers. And when I mean everywhere that includes my craft studio. I've got a whole pile of Daisy Lane Project Packs ready to send out. These packs contain full instructions and all the materials needed to create 6 projects using the Daisy Lane Stamp Set. I'm sending these as a thank you to everyone who's orders the ... VIEW POST

My regular blog followers will now that I love living in rural Nova Scotia. There's something very magical about looking up and seeing nature right outside the window. Occasionally we see black bear, and on summer evenings we might hear a coyote. Most of the time though it's the birds that catch my eye, and the eye of our cat Houdini. Yesterday that's what immediately came to mind when he dashed off the deck and I got up to see what it was that had excited him. That's when we had a really ... VIEW POST
Timeless Tidings Project Kit
As a card designer I rarely (if ever) make up whole card kits according to the instructions. I'm so busy making my own designs that copying someone else's projects just doesn't fit into my day. Plus I've never been one to send out multiples of the same design. However, that doesn't mean I never buy card kits. On the contrary, I love card kits. I take the pieces and make new designs, and boy did I have fun with the Timeless Tidings Project Kit from the Stampin' Up! 2018 Holiday ... VIEW POST
