The excitement is building for all the new products that are coming our way, starting with a very limited edition suite that will only be available during May, and only while stocks last. More about that later. Meanwhile I'm continuing to sort through my retiring products and giving them one last outing. Today it's the turn of the Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder, along with quite a few other retiring items. CABLE KNIT EMBOSSING FOLDER I love the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured ... VIEW POST
Sour Cream Container for a Small Gift
For today's simple Sunday project I thought I'd show you a fun way to wrap a small gift or loose candy. This sour cream container is probably one of the simplest containers to make and needs no scoring or folding. This version also includes a twine handle so you can hang it on the Christmas tree if you wish. SOUR CREAM CONTAINER So just to recap, the patterned paper I used for the sour cream container is from the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper pack. For this project I cut ... VIEW POST
All Things Thanks
Do you ever express your thanks to people who impact your lives on a regular basis but you never see? I'm thinking about people like the garbage collectors and the person who delivers the mail. Not to mention the lovely guy who delivers my Stampin' Up! parcels! It doesn't take much to leave a card and/or a small gift for them, but I've not get found a stamp set that says 'thank you for collecting my garbage'. What I have got though is the All Things Thanks Stamp Set which is the next best ... VIEW POST
Sweet Treat Packages
Time's ticking away and I've another quick Christmas project for you, snack-size sweet treat packages. These would be great for stocking stuffers, table favors, or a token gift to give out to anyone you meet. My favourite is the York Peppermint Patty, but I'm aware that some people prefer Reeses Pieces. So I've created two versions of my treat packages, one for a York Patty, and the other for the slightly larger Reeses. ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD Both sweet treat packages were created using ... VIEW POST
Jingle Bells And More Snow
We're back on that weather roller coaster with temperatures well below the average for this time of year. Yesterday we also had more snow to replace the stuff that washed away by last week's rain. Sadly with the temperature currently at minus 9, this lot won't be melting anytime soon. It looks like we'll be out with the shovels and snowblower this time around. Still, it does look very Christmassy. In fact it inspired me to leave quite a bit of white around the jingle bells paper on today's ... VIEW POST
Dotty Little Christmas
Here we go again, too many tasks and not enough time. So I've a very quick blog post with a really simple dotty Christmas card. DOTTY SIMPLE LAYERS I began with a piece of Thick Whisper White Card cut and scored using a Stampin' Trimmer. Then I folded the card along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) I attached a layer of Old Olive Card to the front of the card base. On top of that I attached a piece of the dotty pattern from ... VIEW POST
