It’s the first Monday of the month and that means it’s time for another IDEAS blog hop. This month our theme is “fast & fabulous cards”. I decided to create all my cards using the He’s The Man suite on pages 78 and 79 of the 2022/2023 Annual Catalogue that launches tomorrow. So I designed four cards for the IDEAS Tutorial Bundle PDF, and a fifth for today’s final sneak peek. The products in this suite really make it easy to create masculine / gender neutral projects like today's ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing – Peaceful Christmas
It's time for another blog hop with the A Paper Pumpkin Thing team. This month we had the pleasure of working with the October kit called Peaceful Christmas. What a treat that was and with the coordination to the Peaceful Place suite the possibilities were endless. For today's alternate project ideas I decided to make more of the Real Red part of the colour scheme. In the kit this is limited to the Baker's Twine and banner piece, but it was also the colour of the tissue in which the kit ... VIEW POST

Petal Pink Finally Has Me Hooked
When Stampin' Up! refreshed its colour range a couple of years ago I had mixed feelings. Out went some of my favourite colours, but so too did some I wasn't keen on so that balanced it out. Of all the new colours I suppose the one I've struggled with the most is Petal Pink. There was just something about Petal Pink that made me avoid it when designing projects. Perhaps it was because the colour wasn't a proper 'pink'. It took a while, but suddenly I'm in love with Petal Pink. It's still ... VIEW POST
A Paper Pumpkin Thing – Expressions In Color
It's been several months since I've been able to take part in the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop as I've been in the UK spending time with my daughter and her family. I have to say I've really missed playing with my Paper Pumpkin kits and have a bit of a red box pileup going on. I can't wait to attack the stack, but but today it's all about the June kit, Expressions In Color. FROM NOTECARD TO A2 My first project is a full-size thank you card as an alternate idea to the original ... VIEW POST
Pansy Dies For Spring And Summer Projects
I love crafting products that have multiple uses, especially when they're easy to use. That's why I was immediately drawn to the new Pansy Dies from the Stampin' Up! 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue. This set of 21 dies coordinates with the new Pansy Patch Stamp Set, cutting out a number of the stamped images. If you don't fancy stamping, the dies also cut out some images in the new Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. Finally the dies cut plain card into pieces that stack to create ... VIEW POST
