Peaceful Scenes
Last Sunday I decided to create a very simple bookmark by stamping a supportive sentiment onto a piece of patterned paper. On that occasion I used a lovely winter scene from the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack and I loved the peaceful feel of the finished project. Tender Hearted
Yesterday was World Card Making Day but sadly I wasn’t able to make even one card as I was busy at a local craft fair. However I did manage to watch the crafting event hosted by Stampin’ Up! on Facebook in the evening. Shortly afterwards I had a lovely surprise when they e-mailed all registered attendees a discount code. That will be very handy as I take advantage of the three-day Stamp Sale that starts tomorrow. Sincere & Heartfelt
Once upon a time I used to skip past sentiment-only stamp sets. I’m not sure that was entirely intentional, but rather that they didn’t catch my eye the way sets with images did. Now though I’ve learned that sentiment-only sets like So Sincere have a lot of potential. Without any images to influence me I feel much less guilty mixing and matching my stamp sets. So much so that I’ll happily take images from one set, like Heartfelt Hexagon and combine it with whatever sentiment suits the project ... VIEW POST

Beside Me Again
When I started my sneak peeks for the January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue my first project featured the Beside Me Stamp Set. Well as that was last year I decided it was time to pull out the set again. The main reason I bought the Beside Me Stamp Set was for the three line-art masculine figures.
