Did you know that in 206 days it will be Christmas? That's almost 30 weeks I hear you say. True, but think about how many cards you’ll want to send, and divide that by 30. That’s what you’ll need to make this week, and every week until Christmas. Of course the cards are actually sent ahead of time, which means we don’t have 30 weeks at all. So when I came across the snowflake pattern in the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper pack, I knew what I had to do. SEASONAL TEXTURE CHIC I have to ... VIEW POST
Snowflakes Are Melting Away
If you follow my Papercraft With Me Facebook page you may have seen a video I posted on Monday, filmed during the snowstorm we had that day. The highlight however was catching a pair of foxes playing in the garden. Normally they’re quite well camouflaged, but that morning with the snow on the ground they were much easier to see. Most of the snow has melted away now, but it inspired me to make one last Christmas card using the retiring Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set and So Many Snowflakes ... VIEW POST
The End Of Snowman Season
My daughter happily told me that where she is in the UK it’s +13C before noon and they’re all in shorts. Here it’s barely +4C and I’ve no plans to put away my warm clothes for a while. Spring is coming though and with it will go all thoughts of winter, even in my craft studio. But not quite yet as I continue my review of retiring products. Today’s project features the retiring Snowman Season Stamp Set and coordinating (and also retiring) Snowman Builder Punch. I’m going to miss them. LET'S ... VIEW POST
Penguin Weather On The Way
It's time to get out the thermals. All our snow has been washed away and it looks like it will be a green Christmas. Not that I'll want to go out, it's getting much colder and I'm definitely a warm weather person. Later today with the wind it's going to feel like minus 17C! Brrr, much to cold for me. So I'll take it as a sign that I'm meant to stay home and play. Yesterday I took delivery of a box of goodies from the new January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue so I have sneak peek projects to ... Snowflakes In Silhouette… Why Not?
On Friday I took delivery of some new products from the Stampin' Up! January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue. I'm excited to start exploring the what I've received in my pre-order, but first I have a few more Christmas projects to make. While I was putting away my new stuff I found some Christmas/winter stamp sets and dies from the Annual Catalogue. While they're still considered 'current', they've been around a while and are likely to retire in a few months. So I've decided to give them one ... VIEW POST
Snowflake Wishes For Winter Thanks
Oh my goodness it's feeling cold enough for snow! There doesn't seem to be any in the forecast but it's definitely time to start planning warm winter meals! Yesterday was a big day for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as we got our first proper look at the January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue. However what's more important is that the Retiring and Carry-Over lists that were also revealed!
