Today's What Will You Stamp? Challenge is WWYS201 - Spirited Snowmen. It's a stamp set that is retiring on January 2nd but is currently still available to purchase. I love the set, but for my WWYS Design Team project thought I'd move away from the predictable winter theme. So instead I made a friendship / Valentine's card with a sneak peek of the Stitched Be Mine Dies. FIRST THINGS FIRST I began my project with a piece of Thick Whisper White Card cut and scored using my Stampin' ... VIEW POST
Sparkling Poinsettia
During my personal 24 cards in 24 hours challenge I tried a new (to me) technique using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. ECLIPSE TECHNIQUE PART 1 Basically, in the eclipse technique you die cut a shape from a background. Then you stick the shape back over the hole but lifted up, for example on Stampin' ... VIEW POST
This Little Piggy Is Happy
While there's lots of lovely new things in the Stampin' Up! 2018 Holiday Catalogue I try not to forget what I already have. As a crafter I always look at the way new things might complement existing tools and materials in my studio. The Buffalo Check background stamp was a bit of a no-brainer of course. A simple, classic check design that could be stamped in any number of colours. Today I paired the This Little Piggy Stamp Set with an interesting variation on the check pattern. THIS ... VIEW POST
