If you’re reading this message it means that Hurricane Fiona has hit hard and I’ve been unable to complete my blog post for today.
Don’t feel too bad for me as right now I’m probably in my studio making the most of some quiet time with my craft supplies.
We spent most of Friday dealing with heavy rain and increasing winds, so it’s obviously just been all too much. I’ll be back soon once the power and/or internet is restored. In the meantime, while you wait, do enjoy this photo of one of the younger maple trees in our garden coated in ice after a storm in 2016.

So sorry that you’re in the path of Fiona. Meanwhile, I hope you do get some uninterrupted craft time. Please stay safe.
Thank you. We got hit but thankfully little damage to the house. The power went out around 10.15 pm on Friday night (23rd) and we’re still waiting for it to be restored. The latest estimate is 11pm tonight (Thursday 29th).
Tracy, I am praying that you and your loved ones are safe!
We’re all safe just roughing it until they can get the power reconnected.
Hope your power gets restored todsy. Appreciate your talents.
Thank you Eva. We finally got our power restored on October 2nd!
