Today is the last day of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue Stamp Sale. All in stock stamp sets from the 2024/2025 Annual Catalogue are available at 15% off until 11.59 Mountain Time tonight. No code is needed and there are no limits on the number of stamp sets you can buy. So for my project today I decided to use the Keeping Tabs Stamp Set from page 59 of the catalogue. I love the smaller sentiments that are great for cards, tags and so much more (even planners and diaries!).

I began my project by choosing a purple and white pattern from the Regal Winter 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. After cutting a 6″ x 6″ piece I cut a 2-1/4″ x 6″ strip off that and fixed it to the flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow). Then I trimmed off the excess paper with my Paper Snips, using the edge of the flap as a guide.
Going back to my DSP piece I cut off a 3/4″ x 6″ strip and trimmed that down to 5-1/4″. I glued this down one long side of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White Card and set it aside.
Finally I trimmed the remaining 3″ x 6″ piece to 5-1/2″ wide and glued that onto a 3-1/8″ x 5-1/2″ layer of Blackberry Bliss Card. Then I cut two 7-1/2″ pieces of Moody Mauve twine from the 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim pack. I wrapped these two pieces around the top of my layered DSP (3/4″ from the top edge) and secured them on the back with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
KEEPING TABS
Now that the DSP elements were done my next job was to make the card base. For this I started by cutting a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Moody Mauve Card. With the long side at the top I scored the card at 4-1/4″, then folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder.
Using liquid glue I first fixed the Basic White layer on the inside of the card base. Then I put Stampin’ Dimensions on the back of the twine wrapped layer and mounted that onto the card front leaving an even border at the top and bottom.

All I had left to add was the sentiment and that’s when I reached for the Keeping Tabs Stamp Set. I chose “with sympathy” and stamped it onto some Basic White Card with Blackberry Bliss ink. Then I cut it out using the Keeping Tabs Die. Next, instead trimming off the extra (back) part of the die-cut piece I folded it over and fixed the two halves together with a little liquid glue.
Finally I added the sentiment over the twine on the card front with pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals and my project was complete.
I love the simple layout of this card and the folded tab is an interesting twist for a sentiment layer.
PRODUCT LIST
KEEPING TABS PUNCH! Did you know that the Keeping Tabs Stamp Set also has a coordinating punch? I chose the die option as it was cheaper. However if punches are more your thing I’ve included links to these options at the end of the list below. Both the Stamp Set/Die Bundle and Stamp Set/Punch Bundle come with a 10% discount off the cost of buying the two items separately.

Beautiful card!Undertated elegance! thank you!
