For today’s 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue sneak peek I wanted to focus on the Tailor Made Tags Dies. In my opinion this is the ‘must-have’ product from the new catalogue, especially if you like making gift tags. Keep reading though as I couldn’t resist using a some other new products to create this pretty tag.

A DAY TO REMEMBER
I began with the “A day to remember” sentiment from the new Days To Remember Stamp Set. Using Tuxedo Black ink I stamped the sentiment onto some Thick Basic White Card and set it aside.
Next I decided to fussy-cut a floral spray from the new 12″ x 12″ Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper (DSP). This was a pretty simple task, made easier by the very sharp blades of my Paper Snips. With that done I was ready to break out my new Tailor Made Tags Dies.
This set contains two different tag designs, one tag shape has a flat top and the other one is more rounded. There’s four sizes of tags in each shape giving eight different sized tags overall. There’s also two additional dies that cut pieces you can use to reinforce the holes on the tags. All the dies in this set fit on the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine too. For today’s project I chose the smallest and largest of the flat topped tag dies, plus the coordinating reinforcing die.
For my tag base I cut a piece of Evening Evergreen Card (from the new 2021-2023 In Colors). Then using the same die I cut a piece of Basic White Card and fixed the two tags back to back with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).

Next I used the smallest flat top tag die to cut out my sentiment. Then using more liquid I attached the sentiment near the bottom of the tag. Of course the die had also cut a hole in the sentiment piece but that was easily hidden. I simply added my fussy-cut floral piece over the top, popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
TAILOR MADE TAGS
That just left the tie part of the tag to do, but first I needed to reinforce the holes. For this I used the small die to cut some Soft Succulent Card (also one of the 2021-2023 In Colors). Then using liquid glue I fixed the small pieces on the front and back of the tag, lining up the holes and the flat top.
Finally I threaded some Whisper White twine from the new Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack through the hole and tied it in a simple knot. With that my gift tag was complete.
I am simply in love with these dies. The eight different sizes are so versatile, and the stitching around the edges adds an elegant touch. I also love the reinforcing pieces and actually have an idea for using those by themselves. You’ll definitely be seeing more of the Tailor Made Tags Dies in future projects.
So I’ll just finish by giving you a closer look at all the dies in the Tailor Made Tags Dies set.
