Earlier this week Stampin’ Up! gave us the dates for the catalogue changeover. On November 14th, Demonstrators can see a digital copy of the January to June 2023 Mini Catalogue. Then on December 1st the list of products being retired from the July to December 2022 Mini Catalogue will be revealed. From that point on all retiring products will only be available while stocks last. Meanwhile check out this card I designed using the Fitting Florets bundle. It’s on early release from November 1st along with some limited availability products.

FITTING FLORETS
I began my card with a sheet from the limited edition Fitting Florets 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP). Some of the sprays of flowers on the sheet coordinate with a die from the Framed Florets set but not this one. So I picked up my Paper Snips and fussy cut it out instead.
Next I used the smallest oval in the Framed Florets Dies to cut some gold sheet from the Brushed Metallic Cardstock pack. I kept the frame piece and set aside the oval centre for another project. Then, using the same die, I cut out some Basic White Card. This time I set aside the frame and kept the plain centre section.
Turning to the Framed Florets Stamp Set I chose the “for a special person on a special day” sentiment. Then using Evening Evergreen ink I stamped it onto the Basic White oval piece.
For my card base I used my Paper Trimmer to cut and score some Evening Evergreen Card. After folding it along the scored line I sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder to create the card base.

After using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) to attach the gold frame to the card base glued the oval sentiment inside the frame. Finally, to complete the card front I attached the fussy cut flowers using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
COORDINATING STAMPS
To create a coordinated look to the project I could have cut and glued more flowers but instead I went back to the stamp set. I found an image that was very similar to my fussy cut one and picked up the Evening Evergreen ink pad again. All I had to do was stamp the image across the bottom right corner on the front of a Basic White Medium Envelope. Then I did the same thing on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White Card. Once I’d glued the white layer inside the card base my sneak peek project was complete.
So simple but so stylish. I have a feeling the Framed Florets stamps and dies, and the coordinating paper are going to get a lot of use. What do you think?
For more information about these early release products and the other new coordinating items see the Fitting Florets flyer.
PRODUCT LIST
BUNDLE BONUS – I bought the Framed Florets Stamp Set and coordinating Framed Florets Dies using a single “bundle” item number. This meant I saved 10% off the cost of buying the same two items separately. I’ve included links for both options so you can explore these if you wish. This bundle will also appear in the January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue.
You should note that the Fitting Florets DSP will only be available while stocks last.
