I have a very full day ahead of me so my project will be short and sweet. I decided today I needed a new Post-It® Note holder. So with a little help from some pretty poppies, this what what I came up with

SIMPLE BASE
I began by making the simple base for the 3″ x 3″ Post-It Note pad using Poppy Parade Card. To do this I used my Paper Trimmer to cut the card to 3-1/4″ x 7-1/8″. Next with the long side at the top I scored the card at 4″ and 4-1/2″. Then I folded it along the scored lines and sharpened the creases with a Bone Folder.
With that done I fixed the Post-It Note pad inside the folded card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).
Next I found a 1/4″ strip of Poppy Parade Card and folded it to create a loop for my mini pen. Using liquid glue I fixed the ends of the strip together before attaching it to the front of the holder cover. With the pen loop in place I then added scraps of Poppy Parade Card in two layers so they could support my decorative panel.

PRETTY POPPIES PANEL
From the Peaceful Poppies 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper Pack I found a pretty design with a blue background. I cut the piece to 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ and glued it to a 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Rich Razzleberry Card. Then I fixed the layers on top of the holder, completely covering the scraps of card.
Finally I went looking for a suitable sentiment and found it in the Here’s A Card Stamp Set. Using Rich Razzleberry ink I stamped “I’m here for you if you need me” onto a 1/4″ x 3″ strip of Whisper White Card. Then I added the sentiment to the base of the holder with liquid glue and my Post-It Note holder was ready for use.
Quick and easy, with a sentiment that seems perfect for the project. What do you think?
