Sometimes I repeatedly overlook a stamp set because I’m hung up on one particular image that doesn’t appeal to me. I sometimes end up getting the set, but only when I realise that I actually love everything else. This month I experienced a completely different dilemma. I fell in love with one particular die in the Organic Beauty set; the large trellis. But I’ve been hesitant to get it and the coordinating True Beauty Stamp Set as it was more flowers. What was I thinking? This bundle is absolutely gorgeous!

SIMPLEST BACKGROUND
As the trellis die was the one I was most excited to get that’s where I started my project. But first I used my Paper Trimmer to cut and score some Thick Basic White Card for my card base. Then I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder.
Next I cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Basic White Card and covered the back with some Adhesive Sheet. After placing the trellis die on top I ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then I popped out a multitude of diamonds and triangles that I will save for a future project. Finally having peeled the backing off the Adhesive Sheet I pressed my die-cut layer onto the card front. Oh wow, I was in love.
Now I just needed a pretty accent to go on top without obscuring too much.
TRUE BEAUTY
It was time to ink up the True Beauty Stamp Set and I chose the flower stem and more rounded flower head. Using Garden Green ink I stamped the stem onto some Thick Basic White Card. Then I left a gap and stamped the flower head with Mango Melody ink. With that done I found the coordinating dies from the Organic Beauty set and cut out the two stamped pieces. Then I attached the stem and flower on top of the trellis background with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Before moving on I decided to use that flower head image as my coordinating feature for the project. So still using Mango Melody ink I stamped it in the bottom right corner on the front of a Basic White Medium Envelope. Then I did the same thing on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White Card before fixing it inside the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).

For the sentiment I went back to the True Beauty Stamp Set and chose “just because”. Using Tuxedo Black ink I stamped the sentiment onto some Thick Basic White Card. Then I found the perfect label die in the Holly Berry Dies set. After die-cutting the sentiment I added it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally I scattered a few self-adhesive Iridescent Pearls around the flower on the front of the card and my project was complete.
Oh my goodness that trellis die piece is so simple yet so amazing. But I have to say I’m equally delighted by the rest of the dies and the coordinating stamp set. I’m so pleased that I finally decided to get this bundle and now my brain is full of ideas. Watch this space…
