Sometimes it’s the little things that show you care. Why not say “I so appreciate you” and combine it with a fussy cut image? I mean you wouldn’t sit and fussy cut for just anyone, would you?

QUICK AND EASY STAMPING
There’s something about the Rustic Retreat Stamp Set that just keeps me going back for more. So I decided to use the cabin image and “I so appreciate you” sentiment on a little 3″ x 3″ card.
I began by cutting some Thick Whisper White card to 3″ x 6″ and scored it on the long side at 3″. Then I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder.
Next I stamped the cabin image using Smoky Slate ink. That was followed by the sentiment in Call Me Clover ink. On the inside of the card I used the tree image from Rustic Retreat, also stamped in Call Me Clover. Finally I stamped the trees on the front of a 3″ x 3″ Whisper White Envelope.
FUSSY CUT LAYERS
Now I was ready to start on my fussy cut layers.

Going back to the cabin image I stamped it onto a scrap of Call Me Clover Card using Tuxedo Black ink. Then I stamped the image again onto a scrap of Sahara Sand Card.
All I had to do was cut out just the cabin from the Sahara piece and set it aside. Then I cut the cabin and trees together from the Call Me Clover piece.
To complete my mini card I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) to attach the Call Me Clover piece to the front of the card over the Smoky Slate image. Then I finished off by gluing the Sahara Sand cabin on top of that.

I love the finished look of this mini card, and it would work well as a panel on a full-size card too. Because they were glued directly on top of each other, the layers are subtle, but there’s something about them that makes me want to touch them. I think this is definitely one occasion when fussy cutting was worth the effort.

SAVE THE SHIPPING (AND SOME TAX!)

On Wednesday (December 11th) Stampin’ Up! is offering free shipping on any order over $65 (before taxes). But be prepared, because if you’re hoping to order something from the Clearance Rack or Retiring List this promotion is likely to make these things sell out very quickly!
Also don’t forget about those products that are not retiring, but where the bundle discount is ending on January 2nd. This applies to all bundles in the 2019 Holiday Catalogue. Finally there’s all the other goodies in the Annual Catalogue to consider too. On Wednesday, everything you order will be shipped for free, so long as your order value is $65 CAD before taxes!
Save on tax?? Well, normally you have to pay tax on shipping, but if the shipping is free, you only have to pay tax on the goods.
So while I go check my own wish list, I’ll leave you with the list of products I used on today’s project.
Love it! and actually don’t at all mind fussy-cutting either. This is just lovely, Tracy. The definitive “clean and simple”. TFS
Thank you Geraldine
