I can’t believe that in just a couple of weeks Sale-A-Bration 2020 will be over! For the uninitiated, during Sale-A-Bration everyone can get free products from Stampin’ Up! simply by placing a qualifying order. The choices this year are amazing and include stamp sets, gorgeous paper, dies, a punch, an embossing folder/stamp set bundle and much more. Stocks are limited and a few things are already unavailable, but a second release earlier this month added more goodies to the list.
Today my simple Sunday project is a masculine gift card holder using the Well Dressed Stamp Set. This could be yours for free with a $60 order (before shipping and taxes),

WELL DRESSED
I began with the Assorted Memories & More Cards and Envelopes Pack. This contains two sizes of card bases and envelopes to fit 3″ x 4″ and 4″ x 6″ cards from Memories & More packs. I’ve discovered though that the smaller card bases make great gift card holders.
To turn the 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ card base into a gift card holder all I needed was the scoring blade on my Paper Trimmer. I simply scored the front of the card 3/4″ from the open edge. Next I folded the 3/4″ strip to the inside of the card base and sharpened the crease with Bone Folder. Then I secured the folded section in place with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) just at the top and bottom edges. I now had a pocket perfectly sized to hold a gift card.
With that done I was ready to begin stamping, starting with the “You are simply the best!” sentiment from the Varied Vases Stamp Set. I closed the gift card holder and stamped the sentiment in the area not covered by the card front.
For my focal point I pulled out my free Well Dressed Stamp Set. This has a great collection of masculine images, and I chose the collar and tie for today’s project. So using Shaded Spruce ink once again, I stamped the image onto a piece of Whisper White Card. I also stamped it onto the front of the small Whisper White envelope.

While I liked the way the sentiment was always visible it seemed a little lost when the card was opened. So I glued a narrow strip of Shaded Spruce Card beside it, making sure that this strip was hidden when the card was closed.
To complete the project I mounted the stamped Whisper White Card onto a piece of Shaded Spruce Card using liquid glue. Then I added it to the front of the gift card holder. Job done.
I love this type of gift card holder as there’s space to write a message too. What do you think?
