So yesterday was a busy day as Stampin’ Up! revealed the 2023/2024 Annual Catalogue to Demonstrators. There’s lots of lovely new things coming, but sadly that means something else has to go. So for the next few weeks I want to highlight some of my favourite retiring products like the Campology Stamp Set. Just be aware that while I’ll always check that something is still available for you to buy if you want, popular items can sell out without warning. So if there’s something you like, please order it now.

CAMPOLOGY AND MORE RETIREES
So this project all began when I pulled out the retiring Campology Stamp Set and also retiring Evening Evergreen ink pad.
First I cut two pieces of Very Vanilla Card, one 3-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ and the other 4″ x 5-1/4″. Then in the bottom left corner of each piece I stamped the trees image. I also stamped the trees on the front of a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope to match.
Next I cut a 1/2″ strip of retiring Sahara Sand Card and punched one end using the flag option on the Banners Pick-A-Punch. With the flag to the left I then stamped “enjoy today” before trimming the strip to 2″ long.
For my card base I started by using my Paper Trimmer to cut and score some retiring Soft Suede Card. After I folding the card along the scored line I sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder. Then using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) I fixed the larger of the stamped Very Vanilla layers on the inside.
Now I just needed a few more card layers and I began by cutting a 3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Sahara Sand Card. Then I added extra interest using the retiring Hive 3D Embossing Folder.

For my mat layers I chose retiring Evening Evergreen Card and cut two pieces. I cut the first piece at 3-5/8″ x 4-3/8″ I glued the embossed layer on top before fixing it at an angle on my card front. Then I cut the second piece of Evening Evergreen Card at 3-3/8″ x 3-5/8″ and mounted the remaining Very Vanilla layer onto this.
Finally, using Stampin’ Dimensionals I attached the sentiment to the Very Vanilla layer before adding the assembled piece at an angle on the embossed layer. With that my final Campology project was complete.
