Today’s project is so simple I’m surprised I haven’t tried it before. While I was out shopping yesterday I treated myself to some York Peppermint Patties. I admit I may be slightly addicted to these sweet treats, so before they all disappear I decided to make a quick treat package to hold two of them.

SIMPLE WRAP
I began by stacking two of the patties so I could get an idea of the size of paper I’d need to wrap them. After a little trial and error I cut a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP). Then I wrapped the paper tightly around the patties and secured the end of the strip using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Instead of fussing with scoring and folding I decided to simply press the open ends of the wrap over the edge of the patties. Then to hold them down I wrapped some Petal Pink 5/8″ Striped Organdy Ribbon around the package and secured the ends on the front with more Tear & Tape Adhesive.
SWEET SENTIMENT
With the patties tucked inside the paper and ribbon wrap I went looking for an appropriate sentiment. I found exactly what I needed in the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set.

Using Basic Gray ink I stamped “That was so sweet of you” onto a scrap of Thick Whisper White Card. Then I punched it out using the Label Me Fancy Punch.
Next I attached three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment and pressed them firmly into place. Finally I attached the sentiment over the join in the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals and my sweet treat package was finished.
See I told you it was quick! What do you think?

PRODUCT LIST
BUNDLE BONUS – I bought the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set in a bundle with the Strawberry Builder Punch (not used today). Using the single ‘bundle’ item number meant I saved 10% off the cost of buying the two items separately. I’ve included a link to the bundle in case you want to explore this option.
