I love watching how the garden changes with each season but that’s especially true when autumn comes. However one of the downsides of living at the top of a hill is the wind, and sadly our trees and shrubs are pretty much bare already. Still, the drive home in the evening is simply gorgeous so I’m enjoying that while I still can. The warm autumn colours inspired my project today using the Glow of Harvest 12” x 12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack alongside the Addressed To You Stamp Set.

I began with a 2″ x 3-7/8″ scrap of the floral pattern I’d found among my Glow of Harvest DSP. Everything else I did stemmed from that… First I cut a 2″ x 4″ piece of Cajun Craze Card and glued the DSP scrap on top. Then I cut a 2″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Golden Glow Card and glued the layered DSP on top 1/8″ from the bottom edge. After flipping over the assembled piece I glued a 1-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla Card on the back.

Next I marked the centre of the Golden Glow layer, 1/4″ from the top, and punched a 1/8″ circle. After threading 6″ of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine through the hole I tied it in a simple knot.

For my sentiment I first cut a 1″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Very Vanilla Card. Then using Early Espresso ink I stamped “happy” from the Addressed to You Stamp Set in the top left corner. With that done I used Early Espresso ink to stamp “birthday” over towards the right in the space that was left.

To make this tag just little extra special I added a large Golden Glow embellishment from the 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies in the top right corner of the sentiment. Finally with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and attached the sentiment to the gift tag, 3/4″ from the bottom of the DSP layer. In next to no time my project was complete. I hope you like it.
