It’s Sunday, it’s a tad chilly, and it’s time for another sneak peek from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue. Today’s Simple Sunday project uses a few new items but I want you to concentrate on just one. Today is all about the Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. But first the project…

CHRISTMAS WISHES
I began with the new Christmas Toile Stamp Set, specifically the Christmas Wishes sentiment inside a banner border.
Using Night of Navy ink I stamped the sentiment onto Seaside Spray Card. Then using the coordinating Christmas Cardinal Dies I cut out the sentiment and set it aside.
Next I took a mini composition notebook and cut one of the sheets from the Feels Like Frost DSP to fit the front and back covers. These pieces were attached to the notebook using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).

Using more liquid glue I then added the die-cut sentiment to the front of the notebook.
Finally I added a page marker using Tear & Tape Adhesive to attach some Seaside Spray 1/4″ Metallic Ribbon to the inside back cover. Job done.
Well it is supposed to be a simple Sunday project after all.
FEELS LIKE FROST SPECIALTY DSP
Oh my goodness the Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper is simply stunning. There are 48 sheets in the pack, four each of 12 double-sided designs.
On one side there are winter photographs, some scenic and some close ups of plants in winter. On the reverse of the photos are designs in silver foil and white (although in my photos the silver foil looks more grey than silver).

The coordinating colours for the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP are; Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Highland Heather, Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Smoky Slate and Whisper White.
Unfortunately I was so keen to start using the Feels Like Frost paper for an event tomorrow I cut up all four of one of the designs before I remembered to photograph them. Consequently the final two sheets in my second photo are less than perfect as I attempted to piece them together. Sorry.

I have a funny feeling that the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP is going to be very popular. If you like it, I suggest you add it to your wish list now and order early in case it goes onto back order. In fact I may add another pack to my wish list myself, I’m sure I’ll be using it a lot in the weeks and months to come.
Some of the most gorgeous DSP I’ve seen. Love the silver foil sides every bit as much. Makes a gorgeous cover for the wee book too! I could well see someone using this little notebook to make out their Christmas lists, for card-giving and gift giving!
Thanks Geraldine, it’s the perfect size for carrying in a purse when shopping for gifts too.
How does someone purchase a package of the Feels like frost dsp paper?
Hi Tracy, This post is from 2019 and sadly the Feels Like Frost paper was discontinued at the end of 2019 by Stampin’ Up! Your only option now would be to look at online sites that sell retired Stampin’ Up! products.
