Yesterday was an incredibly busy day made more difficult by the oppressive humidity. The highlight though was my 'Christmas in July' class where we had a lot of fun playing with stamp sets, dies and Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Stampin' Up! 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue. I'll be holding more classes featuring Christmas projects later in the year once the 2018 Holiday Catalogue is released. It was while preparing for my class I came across some other DSP and stamp sets that I probably ... VIEW POST
Love what you do
Be you
Do you write lists, notes, reminders? I do. A lot. So I suppose it's inevitable that I'd need to buy lots of notebooks and pads. The one I keep in my handbag (purse) is quite plain, after all with everything else that goes in there it never stays looking nice for long, but the notebooks and pads I keep at home are an entirely different matter. When I saw the script design in the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) Pack I knew exactly what I wanted ... VIEW POST
Treats to enjoy
I'm still trying out different options for table favours for our daughter's wedding and it's a great excuse to play with some new products from the Stampin' Up! 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue. Of course with my stash of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, card, embellishments, inks and ribbons, it's not hard to solve that problem. In fact the only problem I have is what to use next. Today I decided to us the gorgeous Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper together with the Love ... VIEW POST
Doubly useful
Yuk, yuk, yuk. This morning as the sun rose (well I presume it did, because I couldn't see it), it was grey and very wet, and someone had stolen the view. Normally I can look out over the Cobequid Bay to the shore on the other side, work out whether the tide is on its way in or out depending on the colour of the water, and watch the clouds roll by. Today, nothing. I could see as far as the trees at the end of the property and after that it was all a solid mass of dreary grey. It looks like ... VIEW POST
