There’s not much left of November and we’re edging closer to the end of the Stampin’ Up! July to December 2021 Mini Catalogue. That inevitably means saying goodbye to the majority of those products, but thankfully not all. Some of my favourites, like the Happy Holly-Days and Angels of Peace Stamp Sets are sadly retiring. However others like the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set and the coordinating Deer Builder Punch are staying. So to celebrate I made a quick bookmark with the help of a sentiment only stamp set from the Annual Catalogue; Through It Together.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
I began with a 2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of Thick Basic White Card for my bookmark base. Then using a Blending Brush I added a light layer of Balmy Blue ink over all but the bottom inch or so.
Next, from the Through It Together Stamp Set I chose the inspirational “believe in yourself” sentiment. Using Mossy Meadow ink I stamped the sentiment right at the bottom of the un-inked area of the bookmark.
With that done I turned to the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set. First I took the resting deer image and stamped it above the sentiment using Cinnamon Cider ink. Then I selected the three multi-tree images and stamped each one above the deer with Mossy Meadow ink.
To colour in the deer I chose light and dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.
Now I needed the Detailed Trio Punch. I slid the top of the bookmark under the oval option and punched a hole in the centre. Then to finish my project I cut some gold 3/8″ Fine Art Ribbon and threaded it through the hole. Once I’d secured the ribbon in place with a couple of Mini Glue Dots my project was complete.
Creating scenes with the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set is so easy, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s just another Christmas stamp set. I have a feeling I’ll be using this one for lots of other occasions in the future.

PRODUCT LIST
BUNDLE BONUS – I bought the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set with the coordinating Deer Builder Punch (not used today) using a single ‘bundle’ item number. This meant I saved 10% off the cost of buying the two items separately. I’ve included a link to the bundle in case you want to explore that option. Just be aware that although the stamp set and punch are not retiring, the discounted bundle option will end on January 3rd.
